ABOUT ME

I’m Yana but call me, “Miss D”, there’s more about it but I’m so excited to share a bit about my journey with you.

Growing up in a hinterland area had its challenges, especially when it came to education. Despite being in the TVL Program ICT during my senior high school years, my heart was set on accounting. Unfortunately, the ABM strand was only available in nearby schools in Cagayan de Oro City, which were out of reach for me.

But that didn’t stop me! I sought out resources and started studying accounting on my own. Those early days were tough, but the effort was worth it. The knowledge I gained became my steadfast companion throughout my four-year college journey. I can’t stress enough how mastering the basics of accounting saved me from so many troubles as I moved on to higher levels. Always remember to take your learnings to heart and revisit the foundations—they’re your safety net.
